April 27th, A Good Day

I just wanted to add to the other weather reports, here in Edmonton, it maybe unseasonably cool but the sun is shinning, I can see the some what green grass and it is very pleasant. (And you thought we lived in the great white north) But we should be asking Amy what the weather is like where she is, over in merry ol' England.

More snow

I too am so sick of this weather. Last week it was 80's and today we woke up to 4 in of snow. I would post a pic, but it's to much work. so don't worry grandpa we are sharing some of that snow with you. Also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMY!!

Alright - I won't post another picture. The last storm (in the photo below) melted away by Saturday. Then Sunday night and today - snowing again! about 25cm so far and still coming down. When is it ever going to end. By the way, our golf course is opening tomorrow - NOT!
Also a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to English Amy.

You think winter is over in Southern Alberta, after all, it is April 23rd.. THINK AGAIN!

Thunderstorm Warning

This is a shot live from our skytracker high atop Manulife place...

Ok so it really isn't, but it could be. I'm actually really board at work but as I sit at my desk the weather is raging outside... the first thunderstorm of the year has hit Edmonton and I'm kind of excited. I love thunderstorms, it's just so awesome to watch these storms. And it also signifies to me that spring is actually here. After all the suffering through snow storms and freezing temperatures, spring is here. What a way to kick off Easter weekend. Hope all of your weekends are great too.

NCAA March Madness

Congrats to David, he won the Cottle CBS NCAA March Madness Bracket. Brent came in a close second. It was a lot of fun and CBS does all the work. I hope we can get more to sign up next year. However, each person has to sign in to play. I'll remind you when next year rolls around.
