Welcome to the Snow Fort that is our Yard

So after about a week and a half of snow falling here in Edmonton, the city finally got around to plowing the residential streets. With all the snow piled on the side of the road we had nowhere to park so Dad hired a bobcat to move the snow, giving rise to the biggest "snow fort" I've ever seen.

A point of note is this is the most snowfall Edmonton has seen in over 20 years. (1989) I remember that snow fall.
Bailey has been enjoying herself playing out in all the snow but we couldn't ever recruit her to shovel it, guess it would have been difficult for her to shovel onto drifts that were about a foot and a half over her head.
So if anyone is looking for some snow to play in, we've got snow for you and an awesome fort to go with it.

Why can’t we be closer! It looks so beautiful!!! I love the snow, especially playing in it. Dillon would have loved to see the bobcat, heck he would have moved all that snow for you. I think this is a sign, we must move……

Well I know of a number of houses for sale if you're interested Heather ;)
Just remember with this snow usually comes frigid temperatures

I visited Edmonton a couple of weeks ago and they have the most snow I have ever seen in that city. And, unlike the south - no chinooks to melt things down a bit
