April is a week away, can you believe it? But, as per Kris' suggestion, I am going to change the title banner every month, which means that I need a new piture! So if you have a good picture of any number of Cottle family members, send it to me at randaltheresa@hotmail.com and you'll see it grace the top of this prestigious publication for all of April.
In the meantime, here is a fun link. It is basically a quiz that you fill out, and it will tell you the top 20 places you should live (in the USA). Apparently, I need to move to Portland, or Albuquerque, or Charleston WV (my top 3). Theresa's top places were Santa Barbara, Honolulu and Baten Rouge! Anyways, if you are looking to move in the near future, or are just curious, check it out.

It's apparently Oregon for me.
My #1 was Portland, Orgeon. And 7 of my top 24 were in Oregon (3 were in Washington). Seems I'm just 250 miles from my ideal place. Too bad Kennewick doesn't share the same climate.
I did have a Massachusettes and some Connecticuts in there, as well.
This was fun. Thanks for posting it. I used to wait with great anticipation for the Money Magazine's Best Places To Live issue to come out each year. They had an extended version of this nice little survey which I filled out every year. For a while there, Sheboygan, WI topped my list. So Craig & I went there, for fun. It was a charming place.
But now here we are, 250 miles from our ideal location... So close, and yet so far.
O.K., I took the quiz. The first time I didn't specify any location and I didn't have a spot west of Oklahoma. So, then I pick all the western locations and ended up with a top five of Portland, Seattle, Albuguene NM, Las Crues NM and Eugene Or. So, I guess Oregon is the place for me as well. I did have some places in the east such as Norfolk Virginia, Logn Island NY and NYC, NY. Go figure. I guess maybe I should start thinking about moving--I wonder if Craig will mind!
Ok, what does it mean that I came out even closer than Kris did. My number one location is Spokane, a whole 100 miles up the road, but a whole world away climate-wise. I'm a little more excited about the second spot: Anchorage! The rest of the top six: Olympia, WA, Eugene, OR, Corvallis, OR and Nashua, New Hampshire.
There seems to be something about Oregon in this family, My #2 was Portland. I didn't specify any area either. Anyway my top 6 are:
Baltimore, Maryland
Portland, Oregon
Norfolk, Virginia (is that anywhere near you Virginianites?)
Washington, DC
Providence, Rhode Island
Little Rock, Arkansas
I think I'm going to have to take this into concideration, I've been thinking of where I should move. Edmonton's about done for me.
Wow, it certainly seems like our entire family should move to Oregon - or maybe at least have our next family reunion there!
Holly - you, one the other hand, should think about becoming DC bound (Baltimore is essential DC). It is a pretty cool city. As for Norfolk, it is in the very SE corner of Virginia, on the cost and part of the Virginia Beach metropolis (the largest metropolitan area in Va). Theresa and I went there once, and it was pretty cool.
Ok, my top six were... #1 St. George Ut, #2 Seattle WA,
#3 Phoenix AZ, #4 Portland OR, #5 Las Vegas NV, #6 Charleston SC, #7 Jacksonville FL. I even had Honolulu as my 12th. It's funny St. George was my number 1, because we were just there for a week, and I was telling Jeff how I would love to move there. We were talking about it. So maybe it's a sign??
