Hello al! It’s been a long time since we have heard from anybody… so let me break the silence. I’m not sure how many of you wonder off to my blog…. But the wonderful exciting news around here we found out that I am having another boy!!! I am very excited, but also shocked! I was sure, beyond sure, I was having a girl… so needless to say I was speechless for a little bit but I am very excited. Dillon has been telling me that he wants a baby brother, not a sister, and I am glad to give that to him. He has also decided that the baby’s name is going to be backhoe. That is his name for the time being, but we still have a lot of thinking to do about the final name. I am currently 19 weeks along, almost half way there (woo hoo!)… and getting bigger. I can feel him moving and kicking around in there and it is such an amazing feeling. I am due June 20th, but I sure hope this little guy comes early.
I just realized that nobody posted anything for J’Neils Birthday back on the 14th, so Happy late Birthday J’Neil! You will have to let us know what you did and how the permit (yeek!) is coming along. Also, your New Year’s prediction was wrong… so sorry to disappoint.

Other than that, I hope everybody is doing good, I love to hear how every body is doing… so keep posting. We hope to see you all soon!

Happy New Year

Ok so I know it's halfway through January, a little late for this but I thought someone should mention it on the blog.
Also since we've been so scattered for the past few years on New Years, the tradition of making Predictions has been pretty much forgotten. I know Grandpa had mentioned it to us while they were in Edmonton however somewhere along the way we forgot to do it, perhaps it's because of how much Bailey Rocks. Who Knows, but I would like to invite everyone to come up with some predictions for the rest of this year and post them on the blog, then we can all look back and see if they came true. Happy Predicting!

More Winter

As per my blog yesterday - when I mentioned it was warming up. Last night another 8 inches of snow and 2 hours of shoveling this morning. This afternoon the wind is rip roaring around so I will get to shovel the same (drifting) snow again tomorrow morning. Isn't winter fun?

I wanted to post these Pics earlier but I was having some Internet problems (Just ask Kristin - but thanks to her we did overcome). It has been a major winter December in Cardston. We have set records for both snowfall and cold temps. We have had a total of 28 inches of snowfall and temperature as low as -36C or -32F. At one point I shoveled snow for 11 consecutive days. But now it is January and the Chinook finally arrived. Today the temperatures are 7C or 42F and water is running everywhere. Welcome to Southern Alberta.
