Well it seems it's been such a busy year I haven't had any time to share on the blog, so before the year is through here's a little photo run through of what I did (and bailey joined me).

Ice on Whyte 2011
It's that time of year again, it's cold enough to make things of ice and have fun playing in it. This years Ice on Whyte theme was Chinese New Year and I think it's getting bigger and better every year. Enjoy the pics.
They also made a bunch of things out of snow. This dragon is the side of the giant ice slide.
And lastly please enjoy a trip down the ice slide with me

Welcome to the Snow Fort that is our Yard
So after about a week and a half of snow falling here in Edmonton, the city finally got around to plowing the residential streets. With all the snow piled on the side of the road we had nowhere to park so Dad hired a bobcat to move the snow, giving rise to the biggest "snow fort" I've ever seen.
A point of note is this is the most snowfall Edmonton has seen in over 20 years. (1989) I remember that snow fall.
Bailey has been enjoying herself playing out in all the snow but we couldn't ever recruit her to shovel it, guess it would have been difficult for her to shovel onto drifts that were about a foot and a half over her head.
So if anyone is looking for some snow to play in, we've got snow for you and an awesome fort to go with it.
