Thank you
Hey,
We just wanted to thank you for the card that you all sent. It was so thoughtful of you and we really appreciate it. Sorry we missed you all, hopefully we can see you next year.

Cottle Reunion Photo Caption Contest
There's Theresa, out standing in her field
Another reunion has come and went. I hope everyone had a great time, but some of you may be bummed that it is all over. But don't worry - one of the best things that came out of our old grandkids reunions were Grandpa's great photo books. And of course, the best part of those books were the captions the Grandpa wrote for each picture. Classics like "there is Heather, out standing in her field," or "you make a better door than a window."
Now that technology has advanced a bit, lets bring the fun of those old photo books to the interweb. But instead of leaving it all up to Grandpa, lets see how much of his creative genes we have inherited and see if we can come up with some funny captions ourselves.
So this is what you need to do:
Send at least one picture of the reunion with a funny Grandpa-style caption to randaltheresa@hotmail.com
When I have collected a number of them, I will post the pictures and their captions onto this blog
I will include with the pictures a survey, in which we will vote for our favorite photo/caption
The picture/caption with the most votes wins (prizes?)
In addition to any pictures for which you have funny captions, send me any other pictures you would like to put on the family blog. I will set up a photo album or a slideshow and post it later. So send over your photos, either with or without captions, so we can all remember the Cottle Reunion 2008 (or for us few who couldn't make it, let us share some of the good times).
